What is coaching? How is it different from therapy?

Although coaching can be therapeutic, it is different from therapy. Coaching is action-oriented and centered around your vision or goals for the future. Coaching is an interactive partnership that focuses on the present whereas therapy focuses on the past. If you need support navigating a complex mental health diagnosis, therapy might be the best fit for you. I’ve also had clients who were successful in having both a therapist and a coach to support and develop in all areas — past, present, and future.

Is coaching right for me?

All types of people from different walks of life can benefit from a coach. The coaching relationship is based on the solid belief that you are a smart, capable, maturing individual who wants support in clarifying, articulating, and achieving your deepest goals. I work with you in a holistic approach and can support you at all phases of your life.

Coaching is perfect for you if you:

  • Seek clarity and confidence in life

  • Battle self-doubt and procrastination

  • Desire a positive self-image

  • Often face setbacks or self-sabotage

  • Strive for a better life but need guidance

  • Want to break free from fear and limiting beliefs

  • Aim to create a vision and set goals for your future

  • Seek to overcome negative habits

  • Crave understanding of your inner workings

  • Are ready to take control and invest in yourself

  • Are truly READY FOR CHANGE!

What can I expect from coaching?

We will start by conducting a life audit to establish the areas of your life you want to develop and get really clear on your vision for your life.

Throughout the coaching journey, we will use NLP somatic coaching tools to uncover psychological blockages, and limiting beliefs and then create action plans to reverse them. I will hold you accountable throughout this journey and be there to support you and celebrate all your wins along the way!

How soon will I see results with coaching?

Making changes in your life, especially at the identity level takes time and practice. New neural pathways don’t solidify overnight. The work I do with my clients invites change that sticks rather than acts as a band-aid approach. In each session, we set an intention and a goal to achieve and will review how you feel now vs. at the end of the session. The goal is to gain clarity, uncover learnings, or develop an action plan each time we meet. You are provided with pre and post-coaching journal questions so you may easily track your progress and see your vision come to life!

I’m ready for change — How can I get started?

Fill out a coaching application and I will be in touch to set up a complimentary consultation. During this call, we will discuss where you are in your life today and where you want to be. This is a casual, pressure-free, conversation to determine fit and answer any questions you may have about coaching. I will share the different coaching options and pricing with you to establish which package and approach would be best for what you are looking to achieve.
